Band - (4th-5th grade) opportunity to have fee-based music lessons after school.
Battle of the Books - (3rd-5th grade) students read 15 books to compete in a team contest re: questions from the books at the school level.
Book Clubs - monthly ordering of paperback books by parent volunteer.
Book Fair - sponsored by Bauder Boosters twice a year where students can buy books at a schoolwide book fair.
Book of the Month - book read school-wide by students and staff.
Chorus - (4th and 5th grade) students electing to participate/perform in chorus during the school day.
Computer Lab - weekly 45-minute opportunity for K-5th grade students to receive technology instruction.
Dance Club- open for intermediate students.
Drum Club- (selected intermediate students)
Enterprise Village - economics unit and field trip to learn about businesses for 5th grade students.
Field Days - spring play day where students compete against each other outside in a recreational setting.
5th Grade Awards Program - held at the end of the year to honor all 5th graders moving on to middle school. Special recognition is given to outstanding students in academics, character, physical fitness and participation of clubs and activities.
5th Grade Field Trip - All day trip which varies to celebrate the elementary experience.
Garden Club - is a 4th grade club. It meets once a month.
Great American Teach In - opportunity for all students to hear about vocations, careers, jobs and hobbies of community members in November during American Education Week.
Halloween parade - prek/kindergarten students dress and parade for student body.
Hands-on Science Lab - 2nd-5th grade students scheduled to attend science lab for 45 minutes weekly; K-1 have monthly exposure to science lab.
Holiday Choral Program - December music concert for K-5th grade students.
Literary Luncheon - selected 4th graders share writings over lunch.
Math Competitions - opportunities for selected students to attend math competitions; gifted and regular education.
Mock Middle School - (2 weeks at end of year for 5th grade only) students practice changing classes to prepare for middle school.
Morning Announcements - selected 5th grade students have the opportunity to anchor morning news.
Multi-Cultural Club- celebrates diversity.
Orchestra Field Trip - annual 4th/5th grade music trip to see the Florida Orchestra in action.
Physical Fitness Awards - opportunity for students to be recognized for physical fitness.
Principal's List - 3rd-5th grade students who earn all A's can attend a bowling party twice a year.
Principal's Achievement Effort (PAL) - a monthly recognition for students who have shown great achievement in the classroom.
Principal's Improvement Effort (PIE) - a monthly recognition for students who have shown improvement in the classroom.
Recreational Reading - monthly recreational reading log submitted to teacher to earn a special celebration twice a year.
Safety Patrol - students in 5th grade assist with safety within the school.
Science Camp - annual one-week summer science camp for students on a fee basis; fee goes to support science lab.
Science Expo - annual school-based science fair for 2nd-5th graders; winning projects go on to district fair; required of 5th graders.
Service Learning Projects - opportunity for K-5th grade to participate in activities to learn to give back to the community (canned food collection, Jump Rope for Heart, etc.).
Strings Class - private lessons for 3rd-5th grade students after school; students must purchase instrument only.
Student Council - (3rd, 4th and 5th grades) - leadership opportunity for elected students.
STEP (high achieving minority students) - leadership group for 3rd-5th grade students.
Student of the Week - recognition program for K-5th grade students.
Tallahassee Field Trip (4th grade only) - overnight trip in fall to study Florida history/government.
Tennis Club - (4th and 5th grade) - students learn and play tennis after school
